Fleet Maintenance

The Fleet Maintenance Department performs the following:
- Does preventive maintenance and repair to all City owned equipment
- Maintains fuel and parts inventory
- Keeps records and fuel records on each piece of equipment
- Recommends when a piece of equipment needs to be replaced
- Assists in writing specifications for purchasing equipment and in evaluating bids received.
- Provides each Department Head with a copy of all service orders and fuel, oil, hydraulic oil received for each vehicle for the month and a cost sheet for monthly expenditures.
