Credit Card Payments
The City of Asheboro uses a third party agency to collect payments made using a credit card. Customers have the option to pay using a credit card on-line or over the phone. Click here to pay your water and sewer bill on-line using a credit card. Call 1-800-272-9829 to make your payment using a credit card over the phone. Customers will need their account number and jurisdiction code 3957 when making a payment with a credit card. Payments made with a credit card will be posted electronically within one business day of the transaction time and date. (Please note, a $2.95 fee will be assessed by a third party collector.) See attached for more information.
View Your Bill
Current bills are available for viewing on-line. This bill is produced on or before the last day of the month and is due by 5:00 p.m. 15 days from the billing date indicated on the bill and is available for viewing on-line by the 1st day of every month. In order to view your bills on-line, you must have your account number and password. Your account number and password are listed on your bills (beginning May 2010).

If payment is not received by the due date, a delinquent reminder notice is sent to all unpaid accounts. The delinquent notice advises customers of the additional fees assessed to the account due to late payment.
Click here to view your delinquent reminder notice.
Note: The password for your month end water and sewer bill (blue invoice) is different from the password for your delinquent notice (red invoice).
With either bill viewing option (current invoice or delinquent notice), the first time you access your account on-line, you will be prompted to change your password. Once you have changed your password, it will not be reflected on your future invoices.
Draft Payment Option
The City of Asheboro offers a draft payment option for utility bills. This allows customers the ability to have bills paid electronically each month from a bank account. Customers can choose from four different billing dates, allowing the payment to come from the account when it will be most convenient. Customers may cancel their draft if they decide not to continue with the program. If you have questions about the draft payment option, call Marcie Abrams at 626-1201 ext 221.
