The 2009 9/11 First Responders Ceremony will be held on Friday, September 11 at 12:00 noon in Bicentennial Park, downtown Asheboro.

The free public event will include performances by the Asheboro Community Choir, remarks by elected officials, recognition of first responders, and the dedication of a flag pole for Bicentennial Park in honor of all first responders.

("First Responders" include public safety and emergency personnel and volunteers.)
